WWI Questions
The Great War broke out in 1914 when the Germans invaded Belgium and Luxembourg which led to Britain declaring war. The war was between the Central Powers which included Germany, Austria-Hungary, Belgium, and the Ottoman Empire and the Allied Powers which included the UK, America, France, Russia, Serbia, and Japan. The US got involved when they intercepted a telegram that said they would help Mexico reclaim lands stolen from them by the US in 1917. WWI was ended in 1919 when they all signed the Treaty of Versailles.
